This book is very intense! From moment one you are the front lines in a battle for humanity's survival! Marco is a librarian, who wants nothing more than serve his five mandatory years, in the Human Defense Force in an archive somewhere. He doesn't want to be a soldier. However he is drafted and heads off to basic training with his adopted sister. He hopes that after basic training, he can serve at a desk somewhere. What happens during training? Does he get his wish? He has no idea what's waiting for him, and how much his life will change forever!
This book is incredibly well written. It kept me on the edge of my seat! It is very graphic, with intense action. The dialog is great and the world Daniel created awesome! I highly recommend this book series! I'm glad book two is out already!
