Crysta has always been different. She never felt like she fit in. She grew up in foster home after foster home. Always weary of men and their overpowering attraction to her. She is minding her own business at her apartment, and all of a sudden a man with a knife is standing in front her. She doesn't freak out like a normal person does. Instead she just tells him to get it over with quick. He looks at her and all of a sudden everything changes. Who is this man? Who is she to him? Why does she seem familiar? Little does Crysta know that her life is about to drastically change forever!
I really like this book! C.J. has a great beginning to a series here. The world she created is very intriguing. Her characters are easy to like and draw you into the story. The dialog is awesome. It's a very fast read, keeping you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend this book!
