This is a great space opera series! The universe created by the author is full of wonders and awesome technology! The first book starts out with the main character Alex Racine on board his explorer tug ship. He is on his way home when he notices a very strange ship. He decides to check it out, and has no idea how much his life is about to change! Turns out there are humans on board, but they look significantly different than any human he has ever met. Alex's homeworld is one of five colonies Earth sent out over 700 years ago. He thinks that the humans he's found are from another colony. Little does he know that meeting this ship, will shape his destiny forever!
I love the dialog and writing style of this auther. They are very talented and I look forward to reading more of their work! There are five books in this series. I highly recommend checking them out!
